  9. Cast button missing:
    Make sure your Chrome browser is up to date and that your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast. You can also restore the Cast button to your toolbar by right-clicking the button and clicking Keep in Toolbar.
  10. Cast button missing:
    Access the quick settings panel by swiping down from the top of your Android phone or tablet's display. There should be an option labeled Screencast.
  11. Chromecast not communicating with your network:
    On a Mac, check that Chrome is allowed to accept connections. You can do this by going to Firewall options, turning off Block all incoming connections, and making sure Google Chrome is in the applications list.
  12. Chromecast built-in feature not working:
    Make sure your device and TV have the correct time settings, and that the Google Chromecast built-in app is enabled.
  13. Additional Information:
    You can also try updating your router's firmware, moving your Chromecast further away from your TV, or connecting your Chromecast to your router with an Ethernet adapter.
  14. Contact Google support:
    If you're still having issues, you can contact Google support.
